APEDA registration helps ensure compliance with export regulations and standards for specific food categories.

Here’s an outline of the process for APEDA Export Registration:

1. Eligibility: To apply for APEDA registration, the exporter must be involved in the production, processing, or export of agricultural and processed food products like fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, cereals, confectionery, and other related items.

2. Documents Needed:

   • A valid PAN (Permanent Account Number)
   • GST Registration (if applicable)
   • A copy of the IEC (Import Export Code) from DGFT
   • Bank details (for payment of fees)
   • Factory registration or license, if applicable
   • A list of products intended for export

3. Registration Process:

   • Visit the APEDA official website.
   • Create a user account on the APEDA portal.
   • Fill in the application form with necessary details.
   • Upload the required documents.
   • Pay the applicable registration fees.
   • Submit the form for review.

4. APEDA Certificate: After successful registration, APEDA issues a certificate of registration to the exporter, allowing them to export eligible products.

5. Renewal: The registration is typically valid for 5 years and must be renewed after its expiry.
